Winchendon Mass was where either the manufacturer of this washboard was located and/or the location of the General Store who actually sold this item.

There is a name above Winchendon, but (sorry) I can't read it.

Measurements:
25 inches high
12 inches wide

Our camera tends to make metals shinier than in real life here. The brass is actually a darker hue, and the back of board also has some greening. Buyer may wish to polish and/or enjoy the old, original patina.

The top board has 2 nice dovetailed construction. The back of board has 5 wooden supports against the scrubber, really reinforces when pressure was applied to front, to scrub hard.

Condition:
Has, of course, some signs of use. Wood discolor, brass darkening, some greening, few wood knicks, crack in brass scrubber
(see photo).

A good rustic appearance. Washboard is sturdy and heavy.
